 The 80800 Lapp Seamer machine can also be used in a variety of places in the carpet and geo-textile industry. It is most often used, either on a railway or a pedestal to sew unpacked carpets together for finishing. It is also used in the bag closing industry.

This type of machine is also available, Model 80700, with both an upper and lower feed to help when sewing more difficult materials.
